Pay rate: $50k - $60k  annually, based on skills and experience.

Summary:

As the Manufacturing Technician  you will assist the manufacturing engineers as needed for best practices is all aspects of work.  The Manufacturing Tech will collaborate with internal customers to provide the best possible service, improve manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes, design workstations, perform CNC programming.  Ideally, you will have a 2 year degree, experience in CNC programming, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.

What you will do:

• Promote, establish, and perform best safety practices in all aspects of work.
• Produce quality results in a complete and timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal customers and strive to provide them with the best possible service.
• Define, establish, and improve manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes, methods and standards.
• Design workstation, jigs and fixtures to support improvement activities.
• Establish process metrics, capacity, and efficiency analysis.
• Support manufacturing activities.
• Specify, purchase, and implement equipment and technology.
• Perform continuous improvement activities in relation to SQDC.
• Performs CNC programming and machine support.
• Analyze and make recommendations for custom requests including hardware and special configurations.
• Work with product specific Inventor models to produce and improve customer approval drawings and templates.
• Contribute to team efforts by obtaining goals.

What you will need:

• Technical related degree either 2 or 4 years in technical or engineering field is a plus
• Experience with CNC programming a plus.
• AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (preferred) or Solidworks experience.
• Communication and listening skills.
• Ability to learn and understand a moderate level of product knowledge.
• Basic understanding of product approval and product specific guidelines.
• Have a basic understanding of product fabrication, hardware, and assembly.
• Basic computer skills- including Excel.
• Work with a positive attitude and openminded willingness to embrace change to move the company forward Perform job functions with great attention to detail.
• Be a contributing team member who helps, shares with, and supports others.
• Be self-driven and demonstrate a personal sense of accountability, discipline, and integrity.
