Your Role as Product Engineer:

As a Product Engineer, you will drive innovation and quality improvements within Euro-Wall’s product portfolio, focusing on new product development and enhancing existing products. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, sales, service, production, and quality departments, to optimize design, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver exceptional performance and manufacturability.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Product Design & Development

  • Implement design changes to existing window and door products based on customer and internal feedback to improve quality, performance, and aesthetics.
  • Lead the design of new, high-performance window and door products, prioritizing quality, aesthetics, and ease of installation and serviceability.
  • Stay current with industry trends and building codes (e.g., NFRC, STC, FPA, TDI) and incorporate them into product design.

🔹 Project Management & Collaboration

  • Utilize project management tools to guide product development efforts and meet established timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the successful rollout of new products and enhancements.
  • Work with the Director of Supply Chain and suppliers to procure hardware, extrusions, and injection-molded parts for product improvements and new products.

🔹 Technical Support & Compliance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Develop and manage test packages for product compliance, including NFRC and STC standards, and facilitate testing for product approvals.
  • Create product-specific formulas, BOMs, and detailed drawings to support manufacturing.

🔹 Technical Documentation & Customer Support

  • Collaborate with the in-house IT team to develop product configurators and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Assist the CAD department with customer submittal issues and custom job details.
  • Oversee budgetary requirements for new product development and launches.

âś” Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
  • Proven experience in the design and development of fenestration products.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor/SolidWorks; experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills for BOM creation and management.
  • Familiarity with product approval processes and industry guidelines.
  • Experience with CNC machinery, hardware integration, and assembly processes.
  • Strong technical writing skills for clear documentation and reporting.
